    • 5,200 youth trained in May through Neftaly programs, focusing on:

      • E-commerce and digital entrepreneurship
      • Agriculture and climate-resilient farming
    • Partnership with the DBSA helped launch the Youth Futures Academy in Mpumalanga, equipped with AI-enabled training modules.
    • Digital Skills for All Campaign expanded to Zambia and Namibia, with over 1,000 youth engaged remotely.

Since the formalization of our alliance in 2030, we have worked hand in hand to build inclusive, youth-centered development programs that address systemic inequality, create economic opportunities, and foster sustainable local economies.

    Meet Sibusiso – The Drone Farmer of Mpumalanga

    Thanks to Neftaly’s AgriTech Bootcamp (co-funded by DBSA), 25-year-old Sibusiso uses drones to monitor crops for local cooperatives. His company now employs 12 young people and services 18 farms.

    Community Hub in Lusikisiki

    The Smart Community Hub in Lusikisiki has become a vital community anchor—hosting coding classes, youth mental health support groups, and even women-led entrepreneurial expos.

    • Connectivity gaps in extremely remote areas hindered the full rollout of digital platforms.
    • Capacity building for new youth entrepreneurs requires longer mentorship cycles than originally planned.
