???? Neftaly Publication: Competition Themes, Rules & Judging Criteria

????️ Publication Timing:

Themes, rules, and criteria should be published publicly on the Neftaly website, social channels, and sent to all registered participants at least 4–6 weeks before the first performance round.


1. ???? Official Competition Themes

  • Songs of the Soil – Celebrating heritage and rural roots
  • Unity in Harmony – Musical reflections on social cohesion
  • Rise, Youth of Neftaly – Empowering youth through music

  • Reclaiming Roots Through Song – Cultural restoration through choral art

2. ???? Rules & Guidelines for Participants

Eligibility:

  • Open to youth, adult, school, church, and community choirs
  • Minimum of 8 and maximum of 40 members per group
  • All participants must be registered using the official Neftaly form

Performance Rules:

  • Maximum performance time: 7 minutes per piece
  • Original songs, adaptations, or traditional arrangements allowed
  • Costumes, choreography, and visual elements encouraged but optional
  • Lyrics must be appropriate and aligned with Neftaly’s ethical and cultural values

Submissions:

  • All choirs must submit:
    • Song list and translations (if not in English)
    • Choir profile and member list
    • Consent/media release forms
    • Pre-recorded version (if participating virtually)
